Random craziness

This has been an interesting and busy week! We had our Operation Go kick off on Saturday, and after that, we were stuck in traffic with a blizzard dumping a bunch of snow on us in Greenville!

By the time we reached Belton, the snow was all gone except a few flurries!

Spring soccer started this week as well...it has been SO COLD...

Lily was acting especially crazy tonight at Jonathan's soccer practice...I think the cold went to her eyes!!

Joshua found out that he made Music Ideals (Choir at the middle school for next year) and he was so excited...so were we because we didn't have to hear him practice singing "Happy Birthday" another millions times...haha...just picking on you Josh-great job!

Jonathan lost his very first tooth and we were all so proud. He took a bite of lucky charms (how ironic!) and it twisted his tooth just right...when it started to bleed, I thought he was going to faint or cry, or both, but then it came right out. I guess now we know why they are called "magically delicious!. He's the last one in his class to lose a tooth. He's now very proud to be on the same tooth page as everyone else.

Looks at that grin! His other tooth is already halfway in, but came in behind the baby tooth.

Well, that's our week so far, and it's only Tuesday! Hope your week is filled with smiles and laughter!

Strike a Pose

I took advantage of a beautiful sunny day and took some pictures of the kids. On days when nothing seems to be going my way, their smiles make it all seem OK.

Torture

Cream cheese coffee cake. Doesn't it sound delicious?!? It's cooling on my kitchen table right now. My whole house is filled with it's sweet aroma...and I can't have a single bite! It's for Joshua's Valentines Day breakfast party at school tomorrow. Highest form of torture known to man.

Potty Party Picnic

Ha! Try saying that three times fast...anyway, she's done it! Lily is officially diaper free! To celebrate, we went to the elementary school for a picnic and some playground fun.

It was FREEZING....well, not like winter in NY freezing, but like in the forties freezing so we only stayed about an hour. I packed sandwiches for Lily and Josh and chicken tacos for the rest of us (which were delicious!)

So the sun was going to set soon and we starting packing things up...and Lily comes running to me telling me she went poo-poo in her panties. All I could do was laugh...until I remembered I didn't bring diapers or wipes. Good-bye diaper days-you served us well, but we never want to see you again!
