High Gear

Well, March is off with a bang!! We are busy doing all the things we love! Soccer games start this week, we participated in Serve Our City day in Greenville (even though it's not really our city, being that we live in Anderson county haha). Operation Go started yesterday and today we volunteered in the Redemption en Español booth at church. Here's some photos from the past week.

Josh ready for Operation Go!

Redemption en Español

Serve Our City day! Our church had 350 volunteers assist Greenville County parks and recreation, providing lots of man hours of work to beautify the area parks. This is not the most flattering picture, but oh well...Lily looks so cute, and everyone commented on how hard she worked. I was sore for three days after laying pine straw and weeding for 3 hours, but it was lots of fun!

And here's just a sweet one of Lily, all worn out...at least being busy makes her sleep early and all night long!

Random craziness

This has been an interesting and busy week! We had our Operation Go kick off on Saturday, and after that, we were stuck in traffic with a blizzard dumping a bunch of snow on us in Greenville!

By the time we reached Belton, the snow was all gone except a few flurries!

Spring soccer started this week as well...it has been SO COLD...

Lily was acting especially crazy tonight at Jonathan's soccer practice...I think the cold went to her eyes!!

Joshua found out that he made Music Ideals (Choir at the middle school for next year) and he was so excited...so were we because we didn't have to hear him practice singing "Happy Birthday" another millions times...haha...just picking on you Josh-great job!

Jonathan lost his very first tooth and we were all so proud. He took a bite of lucky charms (how ironic!) and it twisted his tooth just right...when it started to bleed, I thought he was going to faint or cry, or both, but then it came right out. I guess now we know why they are called "magically delicious!. He's the last one in his class to lose a tooth. He's now very proud to be on the same tooth page as everyone else.

Looks at that grin! His other tooth is already halfway in, but came in behind the baby tooth.

Well, that's our week so far, and it's only Tuesday! Hope your week is filled with smiles and laughter!

Strike a Pose

I took advantage of a beautiful sunny day and took some pictures of the kids. On days when nothing seems to be going my way, their smiles make it all seem OK.

Torture

Cream cheese coffee cake. Doesn't it sound delicious?!? It's cooling on my kitchen table right now. My whole house is filled with it's sweet aroma...and I can't have a single bite! It's for Joshua's Valentines Day breakfast party at school tomorrow. Highest form of torture known to man.
